I remember you!
from our time in the Temple.
I had forgotten.

I am forgiven!
  Now, my memory's heart beats
     and remembers how...

Together we danced,
  chanting our most sacred vow
    of  sweet MotherLove.

    Unconditional
      without limits, time or space
         Ever evolving!

Dance with me Sister!
  We shall re-remember us!
    Sing with me, Brother!
    Peace and harmony
are promised, on the warm winds
            of our joyful change!

We meet destiny's
  manifestation in each
    seed and sprout of grace.
We drink our souls' wine
  deeply tasting communion
     that is our oneness.

I remember you.
Love and Gratitude to you,
My beloved friend.

October has arrived....

The nights here are cool and arid for the most part. We received a blessed shower this afternoon, which lasted for almost half an hour. The water was cold and sweet, and it fell alongside the loose and dying elm leaves, which have begun to populate our backstep.  Five old giants stand like centuries alongside one another, guarding our southern boundary. They are hard on plumbing, and many people despise them, but I can't help but love them. They tower majestically  over our new home. Those leaves are all coming off... one way or another.  I will love these giant elm trees when they are naked and asleep. I look forward to meeting
their vulnerable power with my own this winter. The time of going within approaches.

Took Horus to the park yesterday afternoon to find the pond had been drained. A dozen ducks were crowded into a wallow left behind by the maintenance maneuvers. One day they'll open the valve, and fill the pond first with water from the spring, and then with fishes.  It will be stocked with rainbow trout, from what I understand.  The town of Estancia allows only children and elders to take fish from the pond. They may catch their set limit for free every single day.

This Old House

Been painting this new old house... on the inside. We have chosen some yummy, warm and spicy hues ranging from honeysweet to red chile to jericho jade to laguna mint. My brand new (built onto the house a couple of months ago) bedroom is my personal canvas. Painting the walls throughout the house seems to provide me with much inspiration for my personal space. I found this image of a Black Madonna by  Andre DelCourt , while I  was googling for inspirational images. I'm painting a Madonna on one of my doors.  So far she is looking a lot like  Our Lady of Guadalupe. It's been eye-openning to realize that I'm good at painting, and that I really like doing it. Painting is an honest trade which adds and creates beauty through design and color.  Art as life. I like the sound of that.
I will post images of some of my work as soon as I track down my teenager, who has cuurent custody of the camera. : }

Big Sky makes a good filling for humble pie.  The sky here in rural New Mexico, as we sit at 6200 feet above sea level, is astoundingly spectacular.  The Milky Way's sweet lullaby seems even more audible here.

She comforts and weeps with my soul's yearnful song.
Through her eyes I am shown the way back home.

Thank you Galactic Mother for this cosmic ambrosia !!
